Brad Myers named General Counsel for the Louisiana Municipal Association

Kean Miller is pleased to announce that Brad Myers, a partner in the Baton Rouge office, now serves as general counsel for the Louisiana Municipal Association (LMA).  He previously worked in the area of legal defense in police misconduct, as well as served as co-counsel for the organization.  Mr. Myers will continue his litigation, trial, and dispute resolution practice at Kean Miller.

About Brad Myers

Brad Myers is a partner in the Baton Rouge office of Kean Miller.  He has more than 30 years of litigation experience.  Brad represents clients in toxic tort defense, commercial and business litigation, civil rights and municipal law, and white collar criminal defense.  Prior to joining the firm, Brad served as a law clerk to the Hon. Michael E. Ponder of the 19th Judicial District Court.  He also served as Assistant United States Attorney for the Middle District of Louisiana and Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana.  Brad earned his B.A. from Louisiana State University in 1978, and his J.D. in 1982 from the LSU Law Center.
