Joshua J. Coleman

Josh Coleman is an associate in the Baton Rouge office of Kean Miller. He practices in the firm’s commercial litigation and construction litigation groups. Josh focuses on construction disputes and has experience handling claims related to defective workmanship, project scheduling, warranty issues, and lien-related matters under Louisiana’s Private Works Act. Josh also has experience in litigating fiduciary and benefit claims under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”). Prior to joining Kean Miller in 2013, Josh practiced in Washington, D.C.


Josh earned his A.B., magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia in 2006, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his J.D. from the Washington & Lee University School of Law in 2010.
