Kean Miller Elects New Managing Partner; Vic Suane Elected Partners
Kean Miller is pleased to announce that G. Blane Clark, Jr. has been elected Managing Partner of the 135-attorney, Louisiana law firm effective January 1, 2013. As Managing Partner, Mr. Clark will oversee all business, financial, and operational aspects of the firm’s offices in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Lake Charles. Mr. Clark joined the firm as an associate in 1984 and is currently a partner in the Baton Rouge office. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 1980, and his J.D. in 1984 from the LSU Law Center where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. Mr. Clark will maintain his active business, corporate, M&A, and transactional practice while serving as the firm’s chief executive. In addition, the firm has elected partners Carey J. Messina, A. Edward Hardin, Jr., and John F. Jakuback to the firm’s Management Committee. Messrs. Messina, Hardin, and Jakuback join Linda G. Rodrigue and Mr. Clark on the five-member committee.
Kean Miller is also pleased to announce that Victor J. Suane, Jr. has been elected to the partnership effective January 1, 2013.
About Victor J. Suane, Jr.
Vic Suane is a partner in the Baton Rouge office of Kean Miller and practices in the environmental and litigation groups. He represents local, regional, and national clients in a variety of environmental, regulatory, and general litigation. Vic earned his J.D., cum laude, from Southern University Law Center in 2007, where he was a member of the Southern University Law Review and American Inns of Court. He earned his B.A. in Business Administration from Rhodes College in 1998. Vic is a member of the Baton Rouge, Louisiana State and American Bar Associations. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge and President of the Board of Directors of the Louisiana School for the Deaf Foundation. He is also a member of the Young Lawyers Council of the Baton Rouge Bar Association.
