Kevin Curry Elected as Senior Officer of The Louisiana Law Institute

Kean Miller is pleased to announce that Kevin C. Curry has been elected a Senior Officer of the Council of the Louisiana State Law Institute, effective January 1, 2016.  Senior Officer status recognizes Mr. Curry’s twelve years of service as a Council Member of the Louisiana State Law Institute, and carries a life term for appointment.    Mr. Curry currently serves as a Council Member, and on the Adult Guardianship, Birth Certificates, Disabled Adult Children, Marriage-Persons, and Power of Attorney for the Elderly Committees.

The Louisiana State Law Institute, originally authorized by the Board of Supervisors of LSU, was chartered, created and organized as an official law revision commission, law reform agency and legal research agency of the State of Louisiana, by Act 166 of the Legislature of 1938 (Chapter 4 of Title 24 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950).
