Aileen Johnson is an associate attorney in the Baton Rouge office of Kean Miller. She practices in the business, corporate and real estate groups. Aileen represents clients in all types of business and real estate transactions including real estate development, commercial leasing, and financing transactions involving real estate.

She regularly represents banks and other financial institutions, buyers and sellers, and landlords and tenants.

Representative Experience

• Representation of a major soft drink bottler in connection with a new bottling and distribution facility in north Baton Rouge.
  
• Representation of an international oil and gas company in the sale of an interest in its Chalmette, Louisiana refinery.
• Representation of the Baton Rouge Area Foundation in connection with the leasing of restaurant and retail space in buildings owned by the State of Louisiana in downtown Baton Rouge.
• Representation of several petrochemical companies in loan transactions involving petrochemical plants, pipelines and other collateral.
• Representation of a development company in its acquisition of more than four city blocks near downtown Baton Rouge. This company acquires distressed or abandoned properties throughout the United States for renovation to office, warehouse or industrial use.

Education

Aileen earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Mississippi in 1976 and her J.D. from the University of Virginia in 1983.
