Max Kees is an attorney in the Baton Rouge office of Kean Miller. He joined the firm in 2002 and practices in the commercial and toxic tort defense areas. Prior to joining Kean Miller, Max had a successful plaintiff's practice for 15 years. He is a well known litigation strategist, having most recently worked as General Counsel for the East Baton Rouge Parish School System, defending public school interests for six years.

Max graduated second in his class, was a Law Review candidate, recipient of the Corpu Juris Secundum Award, and a Moot Court Board Member.
