Brian Hightower is an associate attorney in the Baton Rouge office of Kean Miller. He joined the firm in March 2007 and practices in the litigation and construction law groups. He has experience in a variety of general litigation issues including workers' compensation defense, insurance defense, education law, and construction law matters.

Education

Brian earned his law degree from the LSU Law Center in 2004 where he was President of the Student Bar Association and elected to serve as the Student Member of the LSU Board of Supervisors for 2003-2004. Additionally, Brian was a member of the 2002-2004 Moot Court Board and a semi-finalist in the 2003 Robert Lee Tullis Moot Court competition. For excellence in trial advocacy, he was admitted into membership in the Wex S. Malone Chapter of the American Inns of Court. Brian was also a member of the Ethics Committee, the Chancellor's List and the Louisiana Council of Student Body Presidents. In 2004, Brian was inducted into the Paul M. Hebert Law Center Hall of Fame. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science, with a minor in history from Louisiana State University.
