Pamela Baxter is an associate attorney in the Baton Rouge office of Kean Miller.  She joined the firm in 2007 and practices in the Business and Corporate and Intellectual Property groups.

Representative Experience

  • Representation of clients in patent prosecution before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
  • Representation of clients in prosecution of trademarks before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
  • Representation of client in the transfer of intellectual property assets.
  • Representation of Fortune 1000 industrial client in negotiation of software licenses and software development agreements with major software providers.

Education

Pam received her J.D. and Bachelor's Degree in Civil Law in 2007 from the LSU Law Center where she was a member of the Order of the Coif, as well as the Intellectual Property Moot Court team.  She was awarded the CALI Award for Advanced Trademark and Unfair Competition Law, International Intellectual Property, Conflicts Law, Corporate Taxation, Louisiana Civil Procedure II, Administration of Criminal Justice, Antitrust Law, and Patent Law.  Pam received her B.S. in Genetics in 2002 from Texas A&M University.
