John B. Edel
John Edel is an associate attorney in the Baton Rouge office of Kean Miller. He joined the firm in 2008 and practices in the intellectual property group. He represents clients in patent and trademark issues, intellectual property transactions, federal trademark registrations, USPTO administrative disputes, patent opinions, and corporate intellectual property strategy. Prior to joining Kean Miller, John worked as a Patent Examiner for the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia. Education
John earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University in 2000 where he served as president of the Engineering Council of LSU. He earned his J.D. from the LSU Law Center in 2006.
