Sean McLaughlin is an associate attorney in the New Orleans office of Kean Miller.  He joined the firm in 2008 and practices in the Admiralty and Maritime, Energy, and Litigation groups.

Education

Sean received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in May of 2008 where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and the Louisiana Law Review.  He earned his B.A. in Sociology from Louisiana State University in 2005.

During law school, Sean obtained experience by working several jobs, including clerking for the Louisiana Department of Justice during the summer of 2007 and the Legislative Bureau of the Louisiana Senate during the 2007 Regular Session. In addition, Sean also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Judge James J. Brady of the United States Middle District during the fall semester of his second year.
