First Legacy Oil Field Cleanup Hearing Held
A Louisiana Office of Conservation panel heard testimony on February 9 in the first hearing held under the authority of a 2006 oil and gas exploration cleanup law - Act 312. The law gives the Office of Conservation in the state Department of Natural Resources the authority to decide what cleanup should occur at oil and gas production and exploration sites.
