Bill Burst is an associate attorney in the New Orleans office of Kean Miller. He joined the firm in 2009 and practices in the Admiralty and Maritime, Energy and Corporate Litigation groups. Bill has gained considerable experience in the defense of product liability claims, toxic tort matters, personal injury claims, admiralty and maritime litigation, vehicular accidents, contract dispute litigation, and property damage claims.

EDUCATION
Bill received his J.D., cum laude, in 2009 from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law where he was a member of the Loyola Law Review and served on its Board as a Comment/Casenote Editor. He was a Moot Court staff and team member placing first overall in the Intellectual Property and Privacy Law Moot Court Competition at John Marshall University Law School. While at Loyola, Bill received several honors and awards including a Loyola College of Law Grant, the LaNasa-Greco Providence Law Scholarship, the Martinez Scholarship, the Alvendia Scholarship, and the Law Excellence Award in both Legal Research and Writing and Moot Court. Bill received his B.A.A., cum laude, in Business Administration including Management, Banking and Finance and Marketing from Northwood University in 2006.ADMISSIONS
