Byron Arthur is an associate attorney in the New Orleans office of Kean Miller.  He joined the firm in 2009 and practices in the Environmental, Energy and Corporate Litigation groups.

Prior to joining Kean Miller, Byron served as the Press Secretary / Communications Director for the Louisiana Department of Revenue.

EDUCATION

Byron received his J.D. in 2009 from the Loyola University School of Law.  While at Loyola, Byron was inducted into the National Order of the Barristers.  He was a member of the Trial Advocacy National Team, and was awarded the Blue Williams Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy in 2008 .  Byron was a member of the Moot Court Staff earning quarter-finalist honors as an Oralist at the Tulane Mardi Gras Invitational.  In 2006, Byron completed the Harvard - MIT Program on Negotiation . He received his B.A. in Political Science from Loyola University in 1989 where he was selected as the Student Fellow in the Loyola Institute of Politics.
