Shelley Jourdan Harrison and Allison Reeves Join Kean Miller
Kean Miller LLP is pleased to announce that Shelley Jourdan Harrison and Allison L. Reeves have joined the Baton Rouge office as associate attorneys. Ms. Harrison will practice in the Litigation, Legacy Oil Field, and Toxic Tort practice groups. Ms. Reeves will practice in the Business, Corporate, and Real Estate groups.
About Shelley Harrison
Prior to joining Kean Miller, Ms. Harrison served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Louisiana Department of Justice. She also served as an Attorney Advocate for the Child Advocacy Program in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and as a Central Staff Attorney for the Louisiana Third Circuit Court of Appeals. She received her J.D., cum laude, in 2007 from the Southern University Law Center. She received her B.A. in English and Creative Writing in 2003 from Louisiana State University.
About Allison Reeves
Prior to joining Kean Miller, Ms. Reeves was an associate with Kantrow, Spaht, Weaver & Blitzer in Baton Rouge where she assisted clients with commercial, real estate, banking, and business transactions. She has extensive experience in drafting and review of commercial leases, purchase agreements, pipeline servitudes, and corporate organizational documents. Prior to law school, Ms. Reeves worked with Teach for America as an elementary school teacher in Opelousas, Louisiana. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, in 2009 from the LSU Law Center where she was a member of the Louisiana Law Review. She received her B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina in 2004.
