Amanda Francis is an associate in the New Orleans office of Kean Miller. She joined the firm in 2021 and practices in the energy and environmental litigation practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Amanda served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Fredericka H. Wicker of the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
While in law school, Amanda interned for the Honorable Sarah S. Vance at the U.S. Eastern District of Louisiana; was published in the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law, for which she later became Managing Editor. She was named a M. Truman Woodward, Jr. Scholar, and also received the CALI Award for Excellence in International Business Transactions, and received the highest grades in Civil Law Torts and in Cuban Law & US Relations. During her undergraduate education, she studied abroad at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
Amanda earned her B.A. from Tulane University, B.A., cum laude, and she earned her J.D. from Tulane University Law School, J.D., cum laude, 2020
