Brooke Hathaway is an associate in the New Orleans office of Kean Miller. She joined the firm in 2023 and practices in the offshore energy and marine litigation group. Prior to private practice, Brooke served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Eldon E. Fallon of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

While in law school, Brooke served as Substance & Citation Editor of the Loyola Law Review. She also served as research assistant to Professor Chunlin Leonhard. Brooke was a 2020 Leroy R. Hassell Sr. National Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition National Quarterfinalist. She also competed in the National Moot Court Competition as an Oralist and Brief Writer, and the Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition as a Coach. Brooke received awards for the highest grade in Civil Law Property I, Constitutional Law, and Legislative Process. She was inducted into the Order of Barristers and was named a William L. Crowe Sr. Scholar and Ignatian Law Scholar.

EDUCATION

Brooke earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2022. She earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in Political Science from Louisiana State University in 2017.
