Houston Office Adds Legal Talent

Kean Miller is pleased to announce that Anjali Parikh Gillette, has joined the firm as senior counsel in its Houston office. Ms. Gillette joins the firm from the Houston office of London-based Holman Fenwick Willan.  She will practice in the energy, admiralty and maritime, and corporate litigation groups. She has significant experience in legal issues related to land based and offshore oil and gas matters, including Jones Act and personal injury defense, maritime litigation, exploration and production, drilling accidents, well blow-outs, cargo damage claims, ship collisions, and jack-up rig incidents.  She has assisted clients in commercial litigation, insurance defense, Federal Employers’ Liability Act, railroad defense litigation, Longshore Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Defense Base Act, and Carmack Amendment transportation issues.  A native Houstonian, Anjali earned her B.A. from the University of Texas in 2001 and her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2004, where she was Editor in Chief of the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal.
