HR Intern – Baton Rouge

Kean Miller seeks a self-motivated, ambitious, positive, and well-organized HR student to fill a Human Resources Intern role. 

Duties
  • Assist with administrative needs of the HR department. 
  • Assist with screening resumes and scheduling interviews.
  • Assist with employee special events, parties, happy hours, and clerk events.
  • Conduct research on HR trends and craft summaries of research. 
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Maintains the accuracy, security, and confidentiality of all HR files.
Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a team environment and to handle and prioritize overlapping and conflicting work assignments.
  • Ability to prepare an accurate and highly detailed work product. Excellent editing and proofreading skills required.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, excellent time management and organizational skills.
