This one-hour presentation offers a comprehensive practitioner’s guide to the formation and operation of a nonprofit corporation under Louisiana law, including the drafting of organizational documents, governance, obtaining and maintaining federal tax-exempt status, and dissolution. The presentation highlights the intersections of Louisiana corporate law and federal tax law, and equips attorneys, accountants, and other business professionals with the practical knowledge required for advising clients engaged in nonprofit ventures.

This program is approved for 1 hour of Louisiana CLE credit as well as 1 hour of PDC toward SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP recertification. 1 hour of CPE Credit is available. There is no fee to attend.
