Kean Miller Business Briefing – ADA Compliance for Business and Property Owners

Kean Miller will host a Lafayette Business Briefing on Thursday, October 3, at the City Club at River Ranch. Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by the program at 12:00 p.m.

Kean Miller’s Zoë Vermeulen and Erin Kilgore will present, “ADA Compliance for Business and Property Owners.” Business and property owners need to understand the nuances of the ADA in order to correctly ensure compliance and avoid costly lawsuits. The program will include a fast-paced overview of the Americans with Disabilities Act, legal obligations for businesses, potential preventative measures, and how to respond to an ADA lawsuit. 

The program is approved for 1.0 CLE hour by the Louisiana State Bar Association. This program is also approved for 1.0 CPE hour and 1.0 PDC toward SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP recertification.
