Litigation Associate - New Orleans

Kean Miller is seeking a qualified associate with 1-4 years' of litigation experience to join the Offshore Energy and Marine Litigation team in our New Orleans office.

The Offshore Energy and Marine Litigation team represents clients in a variety of disputes involving contract and commercial litigation, personal injury claims, and offshore incidents and response, among other areas.  The team also represents clients in business transactions involving master service agreements, vessel charters,  vessel mortgages, and financings of oil and gas exploration equipment.  

Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, significant writing experience and reputable references.  Candidate will have direct contact with clients and therefore must demonstrate the ability to independently manage client relationships and matters and the desire to further develop client and referral relationships.  The successful candidate should have a track record of high achievement, the desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment, the ability to work as part of a team, and possess superior written and verbal communication skills.
