Litigation Support Specialist - Baton Rouge

Kean Miller has an opening for an experienced Litigation Support Specialist to work in our Baton Rouge office. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintain, administer, support, and train on existing practice support applications and databases
  • Provide advice and direction with document productions such as options for managing client data
  • Upload requested information; create designated folders with new data; verify to ensure data was uploaded and that all requisite data fields have been populated as to each upload. 
  • Perform quality control checks on all deliverables received from third parties 
  • Assist attorneys and paralegals with Kean Miller’s courtroom presentation tools
Knowledge
  • Understanding of electronic discovery best practices
  • Understanding of database structure, design, set-up and utilization
  • Understanding of document management
Position Requirements
  • Proficiency in Practice Support applications (Relativity, Ringtail, LAW, CaseMap, Trial Director)
  • Proficiency in MS Office products as well as document management systems
  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree or work experience in the field of Litigation Support
  • Prior law firm experience in the area of litigation support highly desired
