Madeleine Breaux is an associate in the Lafayette office of Kean Miller. She joined the firm in 2022 and practices with the oil and gas, business and corporate, and real estate groups. Prior to joining the firm, Madeleine externed for the Honorable Patrick J. Hanna and the Honorable Michael J. Juneau of the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.

While in law school, Madeleine served as Senior Editor of Volume 82 and Junior Associate of Volume 81 of the Louisiana Law Review and was a member of the Order of the Coif. She received the CALI Award for the highest grade in Security Devices, Administrative Law, Employment Law, and Legal Research and Writing. Madeleine also worked as a research assistant for Professor William Corbett in the areas of Employment Law, Employment Discrimination Law, and Louisiana Civil Procedure.

EDUCATION

Madeleine earned her J.D./D.C.L., magna cum laude, from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2022. She earned her B.A. in History, summa cum laude, from University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2018.
