Kean Miller is pleased to announce that Samuel P. Gillaspie has joined the firm’s downtown Houston office as an associate attorney, further strengthening its growing presence in Texas. Sam concentrates his practice on casualty and mass tort litigation, commercial litigation, and offshore energy and marine litigation.

Sam’s experience includes representing clients in a wide range of civil areas including drafting and analyzing contracts, as well as developing and managing commercial, construction, oil and gas, energy, and personal injury cases. He has extensive experience in the litigation process, including motion practice, depositions, hearings, settlement negotiations, arbitration, and mediation. His background in completion pipe sales across South Texas and South Louisiana provides him with valuable firsthand insight into the oil and gas industry.

Sam earned his J.D., cum laude, from the South Texas College of Law Houston in 2022 and his B.B.A. in Human Resources Management from Baylor University in 2015.
