Kean Miller continues to grow in Louisiana as we announce the addition of Keith J. Grady as a partner. Keith joins the firm in our New Orleans office, where he will focus his practice on intellectual property and patent litigation.

A native New Orleanian, Keith develops, enforces, defends, and litigates clients’ intellectual property and patent rights. He possesses more than 30 years of courtroom and private-practice experience. Clients appreciate Keith’s strategic ongoing counsel and valuable litigation experience. He has served as first chair in all phases of intellectual property litigation, appearing in hundreds of cases in courts nationwide to represent clients in preliminary injunction hearings, claim construction hearings, summary judgment hearings, and jury trials.

Keith represents publicly traded companies and major manufacturers in patent litigation in a variety of technological industries, including chemical, pharmaceutical, nutritional supplement, software, medical device, and mechanical devices. He also regularly represents clients in litigation involving technology-related disputes, trademarks, trade secrets, unfair competition, internet domain names, and trade dress. Keith frequently writes and speaks on topics including patent litigation, trademark litigation, and copyright issues.

Keith earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 1988 and his B.A. from Tulane University in 1980.
