Kean Miller Houston-based bankruptcy partner Lloyd Lim played a critical role in the acquisition of the Permico Midstream project by Permico Founders, LLC. This was a major natural gas liquid transmission project whose construction was halted due to an involuntary bankruptcy. However, the sponsors of the project negotiated certain key concessions during the bankruptcy proceedings, and the project is now resuscitated. The system is slated to begin commercial operations by the end of 2024, carrying large quantities of natural gas to underserved parts of North America. Read the press release here.
