Occupational Exposure/Toxic Tort - Baton Rouge or New Orleans
Kean Miller is currently seeking a qualified full-time staff attorney with at least two (2) years of general litigation experience to work with our Occupational Exposure Toxic Tort Practice Group. This position involves all facets and phases of litigation, with an emphasis on asbestos litigation. Responsibilities include: case assessment and investigation; drafting pleadings and motions; drafting and responding to discovery; taking and defending depositions; trial work-up and preparation and collaboration with other attorneys and members of the practice group.
Candidates should have excellent academic credentials and writing skills, as well as possess strong listening skills. Candidates must demonstrate the ability and the desire to interact directly with Kean Miller's clients. The successful candidate should have a track record of high achievement, the desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment, the ability to work as part of a team, and superior written and verbal communication skills. A current Louisiana law license and professional references are required.
The candidate selected may work from our Baton Rouge or New Orleans office.
