Kean Miller represents national, regional, and local taxpayers in all manner of planning and litigation in Louisiana. We frequently negotiate with parish assessors and the Louisiana Tax Commission and are prepared to litigate disputes related to property valuation, exemption status, and Public Service Property issues. We have extensive experience representing oil and gas, energy, pipeline, offshore, and manufacturing clients in connection with property tax disputes. Our goal is to assist our clients in the most effective and cost-efficient manner possible, while maintaining helpful relationships with the various taxing authorities in and around Louisiana.
