"Bankruptcy and business reorganization are about more than filings and financial statements – they are about helping businesses find a workable path forward. I help clients navigate financial distress and build toward a stronger future."

Brenton Kim focuses his practice on bankruptcy and business reorganization matters, bringing a creative, client-focused approach to helping businesses in financial distress identify practical options and move toward a sustainable path forward. He has successfully obtained summary judgment in a wrongful foreclosure matter, resulting in an award of attorneys’ fees, and draws on experience supporting clients through the pleadings, reorganization planning, financial analyses, and reporting that move bankruptcy matters toward resolution. Brenton also assists with corporate governance and transactional matters that help clients stabilize and reposition their businesses.

Prior to joining the firm, Brenton served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Donna Roth of the 295th Harris County Civil District Court, where he developed a practical understanding of judicial reasoning and case disposition. Before attending law school, Brenton was a professional bassist performing original country music throughout Texas, across the United States, and in Europe. That experience continues to shape his ability to listen closely, adapt under pressure, and approach complex problems with discipline and creativity.
