Dennis Sullivan’s practice is solely dedicated to litigation and trial. His experience includes a wide range of civil litigation matters, including commercial litigation, family matters, and personal injury. He has successfully defended and prosecuted cases involving disputes in the admiralty and maritime, insurance, commercial, domestic, and construction matters. Dennis has litigated cases in all four federal districts of Texas, as well as federal and state courts in Texas, California, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Florida, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Illinois. He has successfully represented clients before the United States Coast Guard and National Transportation Safety Board’s administrative offices and proceedings, and the appeal boards arising out of those proceedings. Dennis has also appeared on numerous occasions before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit as well as state courts of appeal.

Dennis has been actively involved as co and lead counsel in numerous major maritime and aviation incidents along the Texas gulf coast, as well as in Central America.

Dennis is a seasoned litigator and was selected as 2020 Litigator of the Year by the American Institute of Trial Lawyers. Dennis served as a briefing attorney to the Honorable Charles M. Bleil of the Sixth Court of Appeals from 1991-1992.
