Caroline Taylor focuses her practice on casualty and mass tort litigation, labor and employment law, and general civil litigation. She has represented employers in disputes involving discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour claims, as well as a wide range of other civil matters. Caroline has also advised clients on compliance, policy development, and employee handbook preparation and maintenance, helping them proactively mitigate risk and position themselves to avoid and defend against litigation. In addition, she has a strong interest in sports law and has counseled clients on related compliance and dispute matters.
Caroline’s experience spans a diverse range of industries, including chemical and industrial services, construction, education, financial services, insurance, real estate, hospitality, technology, and transportation. Caroline is drawn to the legal profession by its constantly evolving challenges and enjoys finding practical, effective solutions to complex problems.
Before entering private practice, Caroline interned with the Livingston Parish Clerk of Court, held clerkships at several business law firms, and built on her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience by teaching Chemistry I. She also clerked with NILSU throughout law school, where she researched evolving NIL guidelines and advised student-athletes and businesses on branding and commercialization opportunities.
Throughout her time at LSU Law, Caroline coached girls’ basketball at a local high school.
