Tobey Blanton Forney possesses more than 20 years of legal, tax, and estate planning experience. She strives to empower clients and handle their affairs with competence and thoughtfulness to bring about harmony at the end of life. Tobey advises clients on their personal wealth, family, and legacy, helping them to not only manage their assets, minimize taxes, and put the right documents in place, but to translate their success into a meaningful legacy. She utilizes her law degree, training, and personal experiences to bring families closer together, and always endeavors to make a difference in people’s lives.
Tobey also advises on the formation and governance of tax-exempt and small business entities. She has extensive experience forming and obtaining section 501(c) status for nonprofits, as well as advising tax-exempt clients on governance, joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions. She also advises small, family-held businesses on formation, governance, and succession planning.
