Kean Miller Adds Houston Trial Talent

Kean Miller’s rapid growth continues as the 208-attorney, full-service law firm announces the addition of Houston trial lawyer Carolyn D. Roch as a partner. “We are ecstatic to have Carolyn join our trial team as we continue to expand our litigation offerings across our regional footprint. Carolyn D. Roch joins the firm as a partner practicing with the labor and employment law, casualty litigation, and commercial litigation groups. She is a seasoned litigator who focuses on complex commercial litigation. Carolyn first began trying cases as a prosecutor with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office after graduating law school. During her time with the District Attorney’s Office, she first-chaired more than 50 jury trials and successfully argued multiple appellate matters.

Carolyn has represented both plaintiffs and defendants, including Fortune 100 companies and executives. With her wide array of business litigation acumen, Carolyn has particular experience in employment, unfair competition, and securities litigation. She defends corporations in discrimination, covenant not to compete and trade secret cases, and she represents individuals in executive compensation, breach of contract, and wrongful termination cases. Carolyn also conducts employment investigations and routinely handles race discrimination, sexual harassment, FMLA, ADA, and retaliation suits.

Carolyn earned her J.D. from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law. She earned her B.A. in Honors English and Plan I Honors from The University of Texas at Austin.
