Kean Miller Adds Legal Talent in Houston

Kean Miller’s rapid growth in Texas continues as the 208-attorney, full-service law firm announces the addition of Ryleigh M. Wolverton and Bahar B. Sahami in the downtown Houston office. With these additions, the Firm expands its ability to continue to provide clients with quality legal services, meaningful counsel, and a positive client experience.

Ryleigh M. Wolverton joins the firm as an associate practicing with the probate, trust, and guardianship litigation and administration group. She has additional legal experience in personal injury defense, Texas and federal workers’ compensation defense, contract interpretation, insurance coverage, estate planning, and probated wills.

Ryleigh earned her J.D. from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2021 and her B.S. in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University in 2018. While in law school, she served as a Legal Writing Tutor and as the Director of External Dispute Resolution Competitions of the Board of Advocates. She was a member of three negotiation competition teams and named Regional Finalist in the American Bar Association Negotiation Competition.

Bahar B. Sahami joins the firm as an associate primarily practicing with the casualty and mass tort litigation, offshore energy and marine litigation, and commercial litigation groups. Prior to joining Kean Miller, she represented clients in state courts regarding construction defect, product liability, and personal injury litigation, along with experience in energy and environmental regulation and litigation. Prior to law school, Bahar served as a full-time Judicial Intern for the U.S. Supreme Court in the Office of the Counselor to the Chief Justice as a Spring 2018 Archer Fellow.

Bahar earned her J.D., with Pro Bono Honors, from The University of Texas School of Law in 2021. She earned her B.A.s in Government and International Relations, with Honors and Phi Beta Kappa, from The University of Texas at Austin in 2018 and her Global Management Certificate from McCombs School of Business in 2018. While in law school, Bahar was a staff editor for the Texas International Law Journal and a senior editor for the Texas Environmental Law Journal. Additionally, she served as a Student Attorney in the Environmental Law Clinic. Bahar obtained a Dean’s Achievement Award in Mediation and is also a Certified Mediator.
