- This session examines how plaintiffs steer cases into Harris County, Texas (and others) and how defense counsel can push them back out. This panel will cover litigation strategies, recent case law, and effective use of forum selection, arbitration, venue, and choice-of-law provisions under Texas law, Louisiana law, General Maritime Law, and the Jones Act. The presentation will also review battle-tested contract language that companies are using to control the location and forum for their disputes.

The presentation will further address AI’s impact on insurance coverage issues.
