With more than 25 years of legal experience, Allison advises corporations, limited liability companies, financial institutions, and other business clients on high-stakes litigation, strategic transactions, and complex commercial matters. Licensed in Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi and fluent in Spanish, she provides practical, business-focused counsel to clients across a broad range of industries.

Allison’s practice spans corporate governance, business disputes, contract negotiations, corporate finance, creditors’ rights, business sales and acquisitions, construction disputes, insurance coverage and recovery, and oil and gas leases. She regularly counsels clients on commercial financing transactions, fiduciary duties of directors and officers, priority disputes among secured creditors, critical contract provisions, the protection of trade secrets and other intellectual property, and strategies to minimize risk in the event of a contractual counterparty’s financial distress. An experienced litigator, Allison represents clients in state and federal courts, arbitral forums, and appellate courts.

Allison earned her J.D. from the Emory University School of Law in 1999 and her B.B.A. in International Business, summa cum laude, from Loyola University in 1996.
