Kean Miller Expands Estate Planning and Probate Litigation Teams in Texas
Kean Miller is pleased to announce the addition of three attorneys – Theresa A. Clarke, Jamie Madison, and Sabrina G. Stone – enhancing the firm’s Houston-based estate planning, probate, and trust and estate litigation teams.
With growing demand for sophisticated tax planning and probate dispute resolution services, these additions position Kean Miller to better serve individuals, families, fiduciaries, trust departments, and business owners navigating complex wealth planning, federal tax, administration, and litigation matters. Collectively, Theresa, Jamie, and Sabrina bring a well-rounded combination of tax and estate planning, administration, and litigation experience, allowing the firm to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end counsel across the full lifecycle of estate and trust matters in Texas.
“These additions deepen our bench in key areas and reflect our continued investment in meeting our clients’ evolving estate and tax planning and probate litigation needs,” said Linda Perez Clark, Managing Partner.
Theresa focuses her practice on estate planning, elder law and Medicaid planning, special needs planning, and probate and trust administration, advising individuals and families on strategies to create estate and long-term care plans that work for them. Her goals are her clients’ goals, whether they entail creating an estate plan that builds a legacy, protects wealth, and provides for their individual and charitable beneficiaries, devising a care plan for loved ones with special needs, or understanding and pursuing eligibility for means-tested government benefits.
Theresa earned her J.D. from the St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2015, her M.P.P. from Georgetown University in 2000, and her B.A. in Political Science from Michigan State University in 1992.
Jamie focuses her practice on estate planning and probate litigation, advising individuals and families on how to protect their assets, plan for the future, and navigate complex estate and trust disputes. She works closely with clients to develop customized estate plans that reflect their goals, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives, while also representing clients in probate and trust administration and litigation matters.
Jamie earned her J.D. from the Texas A&M University School of Law in 2021 and her B.EnvD., cum laude, from Texas A&M University in 2018.
Sabrina focuses her practice on probate litigation, representing clients in complex estate, trust, and guardianship disputes. She works with individuals and families to navigate sensitive and often high stakes matters involving fiduciary duties, inheritance disputes, and contested estate administration. Sabrina brings significant litigation experience in both state and federal courts, offering clients strategic, solutions-oriented advocacy.
