Three Partners Re-Elected to Management Committee
Kean Miller is pleased to announce that Mark A. Marionneaux, Sean T. McLaughlin, and John F. Jakuback have been re-elected to the firm’s seven-member Management Committee. Each will serve a two-year term beginning January 1, 2026.
They join Managing Partner Linda Perez Clark and Partners Erich P. Rapp, Pamela Roman Mascari, and William L. Caughman III on the firm’s 2026 Management Committee. Collectively, the committee provides strategic leadership and oversight for the firm’s operations, growth, and long-term vision. Their insight, collaboration, and dedication to supporting operations across all offices and departments have been instrumental to Kean Miller’s continued success.
Mark practices in the products liability, litigation, and toxic tort defense groups. Mark represents some of Louisiana’s most prominent chemical, fertilizer, and energy companies in a wide variety of litigation matters involving chemical exposure, toxic tort, products liability, insurance defense, workers compensation, and class action litigation. Mark has over 30 years of experience and regularly advises clients on litigation strategy, insurance coverage issues, and litigation management.
Based in the Baton Rouge office, Mark is admitted to practice in Louisiana. He earned his J.D. from the LSU Law Center in 1992 and his B.S. from LSU in 1989.
Litigator and first-chair trial counsel, Sean, has represented clients in bench and jury trials in various state courts, federal courts, tax courts, and administrative tribunals throughout the continental United States. He represents businesses, individuals, and other organizations in disputes involving breach of contract, commercial leases, tax controversies, high-exposure personal injury cases, and contractual indemnity/additional insured status. Sean has experience in every level of trial advocacy.
Based in the New Orleans office, Sean is admitted to practice in Louisiana. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the LSU Law Center and his B.A. from LSU.
John defends high-stakes commercial and personal injury litigation claims for Fortune 500 companies, regional businesses, municipalities, and other institutional clients. Having successfully advocated for favorable outcomes involving billions of dollars of large-scale, serious claims over the course of his career, John continues to earn his stellar reputation as premier defense counsel and litigation strategist for single and multi-plaintiff and multi-state actions in Texas, Louisiana, and beyond.
Based in the Houston office, John is admitted to practice in both Texas and Louisiana. He earned his J.D. from the LSU Law Center in 1992 and his B.A. from University of Dallas in 1987.
