Jessica Guobadia is a skilled litigator and mediator dedicated to guiding individuals and their families through the complexities of guardianship, probate, and mental health commitment proceedings. She advocates for clients to ensure that their rights are protected, while providing families and caregivers with the support and guidance needed to navigate these complex legal processes.

Jessica has extensive experience handling probate matters, including heirships and probate of wills. While navigating the probate process can be challenging, she strives to provide knowledgeable and compassionate counsel to her clients every step of the way. Jessica also takes pride in helping clients create personalized estate plans that ensure that their wishes are clearly documented and honored.

Jessica has served in a variety of roles, including applicant’s counsel, court-appointed attorney ad litem, guardian ad litem, administrator, and guardian of the person and estate, as applicable in matters including probate administration, guardianships, personal injury matters, involuntary mental health commitments, and emergency removal proceedings. Her experience across all facets of these matters gives Jessica a comprehensive understanding of the legal, personal, and practical implications involved in guardianship and mental health treatment options. This holistic perspective enables her to offer well-rounded advice to her clients and serve as an effective mediator in guardianship and probate matters. Jessica has represented clients in both state and federal courts, including various appellate matters before the Texas Supreme Court and the Courts of Appeal.

Jessica has previously volunteered with mental health advocacy organizations, veterans, and first responders, providing support on a range of legal issues, including estate planning.
