Diversity in Action

Kean Miller has one of the highest percentages of women attorneys and partners of any major law firm, and we rank among firms having the highest percentages of minority attorneys. Our inclusive culture is key to attracting individuals with diverse experiences to join our team. We’ve steadily built this culture through our commitment to organizations like Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) and the Minority Corporate Counsel Association, as well as programs like Kean Miller Connection, our full-day law school preparatory program that “connects” college students with information helpful to their decision to attend law school.

Our commitment to hire the best and brightest has also yielded a diverse team worthy of Mansfield Rule Certification and led to Kean Miller being ranked in The American Lawyer’s 2024 Diversity Scorecard (108th nationally for its diversity metrics and 84th for its number of women attorneys).

Kean Miller is proud of its historical commitment to diversity, embracing an open and broad-based search for top talent, and looks forward to continuing that commitment, as well as pursuing new opportunities that encourage diverse perspectives. Finally, Kean Miller is an excellent place to work. Our team members, our best critics, praise the work environment where all individuals are treated with dignity and respect.

Everyone is considered part of the team. If you’re a paralegal, a secretary, legal assistant, if you are in the copy center – it’s all first name basis here. Doors are open. People help each other and work for the good of the client. I don’t feel like I’m in a branch office of a firm in a different city.
