These additions reflect the firm’s continued growth across Louisiana and enhances its capabilities in key practice areas, including real estate, offshore energy and marine litigation, labor and employment, casualty and mass tort defense, energy, environmental, business and corporate, and construction.

Baton Rouge
Hannah Grace Babin focuses her practice on casualty and mass tort litigation. She earned her J.D./D.C.L., cum laude, from the LSU Law Center in 2025 and her B.A. in Mass Communication, summa cum laude, from LSU in 2022.
Elizabeth Bueche focuses her practice on labor and employment and construction matters. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a Judicial Extern to Judge John W. deGravelles of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. Elizabeth earned her J.D./D.C.L., magna cum laude, from the LSU Law Center in 2025 and her B.A. in Mass Communication, summa cum laude, from LSU in 2022.
Samantha B. Sharp is a skilled real estate attorney and title insurance agent with significant and varied experience in real estate transactions of all kinds, corporate mergers and acquisitions, commercial litigation, and successions and estate planning. She was previously the owner, title agent, notary public, and title abstractor of her own company where she prepared and passed last wills, small succession affidavits, mandates, matrimonial agreements, leases, and other notarial acts of all kinds. Sam earned her J.D. from the Southern University Law Center in 2025 and her B.A. in English from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2011.
Lorin Wales Staup focuses her practice on energy and environmental litigation. She earned her J.D./D.C.L., summa cum laude, from the LSU Law Center in 2025 and her B.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from LSU in 2020.
Lafayette
Thomas Frederick focuses his practice on offshore energy and marine litigation. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a Law Clerk to Magistrate Judge David J. Ayo of the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. Thomas earned his J.D./D.C.L. from the LSU Law Center in 2025 and his B.S. in Finance and Accounting from LSU in 2022.
Mary-Claire Hollier focuses her practice on offshore energy and marine litigation. She earned her J.D./D.C.L., cum laude, from the LSU Law Center in 2025 and her B.S. in Accounting, summa cum laude, from LSU in 2022.
Philip Young focuses his practice on offshore energy, marine litigation, and labor and employment disputes. He assists in a variety of litigation matters involving drilling operations, marine transport, and compliance with various regulations involving the maritime industry in Louisiana and Texas. Prior to joining the firm, Philip served as an Intern to Judge David C. Joseph of the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. He earned his J.D./D.C.L., magna cum laude, from the LSU Law Center in 2025 and his B.S. in Biology, cum laude, from University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2015.
Mattie Zepernick focuses her practice on business and corporate and real estate matters. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a Law Clerk to Chief Justice John L. Weimer of the Louisiana Supreme Court. Mattie earned her J.D./D.C.L. from the LSU Law Center in 2025 and her B.B.A. in Finance and Commercial Real Estate, cum laude, from Texas Christian University in 2020.
