Jacques Landrieu is an associate in the New Orleans office of Kean Miller. He joined the firm in 2023 and practices with the energy and environmental litigation group. Prior to joining the firm, Jacques represented clients in matters involving property and casualty, insurance coverage, bad faith and extra contractual claims, insurance fraud, automobile casualty, commercial litigation, and general civil litigation.

Prior to private practice, Jacques served as a senior trial attorney for the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office, sitting first chair for the State of Louisiana for all non-capital felony cases in Section B of Orleans Parish Criminal District Court. He has previously tried multiple jury and bench trials and has argued numerous motion hearings.

While in law school, Jacques served as Managing Editor for the Tulane Law School Maritime Journal and as a member of the Tulane Law School Moot Court Board. He received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for the highest grade in Trial Advocacy and placed first in Tulane Law’s Intraschool Trial Competition. Prior to law school, Jacques worked for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program, an educational, consulting, and financial program designed to help small businesses throughout the Greater New Orleans Area grow their revenues and number of employees.

EDUCATION

Jacques earned his J.D. from the Tulane University Law School in 2017. He earned his B.A. in History and Minors in Financial Economics and Corporate Strategy from Vanderbilt University in 2013.
