About Jay Jalenak
Jay Jalenak is a partner in the Baton Rouge office of Kean Miller and joined the firm in 1990. He leads the firm’s pro bono efforts with the Baton Rouge Bar Foundation, and is a key member of the Kean Miller Diversity Council. Jay practices in the litigation group and represents clients in toxic tort litigation, commercial and business litigation, and personal injury defense. He is a Past President of the Baton Rouge Bar Association. Jay earned his B.A. from Hampden-Sydney College in 1987, and his J.D. from the LSU Law Center in 1990. He is a member of the Baton Rouge, Louisiana State, and American Bar Associations, and a member of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.
