This marks the seventh year the newspaper has had a partnership with Engage, a Philadelphia-based employee research and consulting firm, to determine the top companies. Through the partnership, employee surveys were conducted to assess workplaces.

The rankings of the companies in their respective categories will be announced at an awards ceremony to be held later in 2021.
