National Law Journal Names Kean Miller as one of the Top 20 Law Firms in the U.S. for Women Attorneys

Kean Miller is proud to announce that the firm is recognized by the National Law Journal in its NLJ 500 survey of the nation's largest law firms as one of the top 20 firms in the United States for women attorneys.

The firm's 2016 Women in Law Score of 67.3 ranks Kean Miller 145 spots ahead of its closest Louisiana competitor, and almost 200 spots ahead of some of the largest law firms based in the Bayou state.

"We are committed to building a more diverse and inclusive law firm. This recognition by one of the premier legal publications in the country is especially rewarding.  We have spent decades hiring, training, and promoting great attorneys, who happen to be women," said Blane Clark, managing partner of the firm.

The National Law Journal recognition is based on the firm's 2015 statistics, which feature 42% female attorneys, 25% female partners, 61% female associates, and 62% female counsel.  This recognition follows the firm being named one of the 10 Best Law Firms for Black Attorneys by Law360.
