Glenn Orgeron Appointed to CCCOA by Governor Jindal

Glenn P. Orgeron, a partner in the New Orleans office of Kean Miller LLP, has been appointed to the Crescent City Connection Oversight Authority (CCCOA) by Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal.   The CCCOA serves to establish priorities of projects from remaining funds after all operation and maintenance expenses of bridges and ferries under the authority of the Crescent City Connection Division of the Department of Transportation and Development have been paid.   Mr. Orgeron is one of thirteen gubernatorial appointments to the CCCOA which are subject to senate confirmation.  He represents House District 86 and was nominated for the post by Speaker Jim Tucker.

About Glenn P. Orgeron

Mr. Orgeron is a partner in the New Orleans office of Kean Miller LLP and a Registered Professional Engineer.  He practices in the Admiralty and Maritime, Construction Law, and Products Liability practice groups.  He has over 15 years of experience in admiralty and maritime law, complex construction law matters, mold litigation, consumer credit and Fair Credit Reporting Act issues, and product liability litigation in state and federal courts.  Mr. Orgeron is actively involved in numerous civic organizations, including the New Orleans Regional Chamber of Commerce, St. Andrew the Apostle School (School Board President, Foundation, and Finance Board), New Orleans Public Schools Citizens Advisory Council (District 4), Algiers Economic Development Foundation, St. Mary’s Dominican High School (Parent’s Board), Algiers Community Foundation, Algiers Charter School Association, Our Lady of Holy Cross College Board of Ambassadors, and the Delgado Community College Board of Advisors.

Mr. Orgeron is a Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) in the United States Marine Corps.  
He received his J.D. from the Tulane University Law School in 1978 and his Master of Legal Letters in International Law from The George Washington University in 1983.  He earned his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University in 1970 and his Masters of Science in Administration from The George Washington University in 1975. Glenn earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Tulane University in 1968.
