Associate Opportunity – Baton Rouge Office

Kean Miller is currently seeking an associate or of counsel attorney with experience in business bankruptcy, commercial litigation, distressed real estate, and/or creditors-rights representation.  Candidates should have a minimum of two years of substantive experience in bankruptcy or bankruptcy litigation as a practicing lawyer or judicial law clerk; in addition, some experience with insurance-coverage litigation is preferred but not required. Candidates should have excellent academic credentials, strong writing skills, strong listening skills, and excellent references.  Candidates must demonstrate the ability and the desire to interact directly with Kean Miller’s clients and to further develop client and referral relationships.  The successful candidate should have a track record of high achievement, the desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment, the ability to work as part of a team, and possess superior written and verbal communication skills.  A current state bar license is required, but attorneys licensed outside Louisiana who desire to move back to Baton Rouge are invited to apply.
