About Matt Smith
Matt Smith is a partner in the Baton Rouge office of Kean Miller and practices with the energy and environmental litigation group. He focuses his practice on commercial litigation, toxic tort defense, energy litigation, and environmental litigation. Matthew earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2013, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and the Order of the Coif. He earned his B.A., summa cum laude, from Louisiana State University in 2009. Matt is a member of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, Young Lawyers Committee, and serves his community as a member of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where he assists with many of its local fundraising events.
About Jill Gautreaux
Jill Gautreaux is a partner in the New Orleans office of Kean Miller and practices with the business practice group. Jill's work concentrates on real estate, corporate matters, and commercial litigation. Jill earned her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 1995. She earned her B.A. from Tulane University in 1992. Jill is a member of the Louisiana Restaurant Association, the National Conference of State Liquor Administrators, and the National Association of Licensing and Compliance Professionals.
