Litigation Paralegal - Baton Rouge

Responsibilities include case management, discovery, research, trial prep and client reporting. Applicants should have strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, excellent communication skills and work well under pressure. Experience using technology for litigation support, document management and trial preparation highly desired. Must be able to work independently and as part of the team. Ability to use good judgment in taking initiative and proceeding on a project or getting direction and further clarification. A bachelor’s degree or associates degree is required as well as a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved school. Minimum of 5 years paralegal experience in litigation preferred. Litigation Support Specialist - Baton Rouge

Kean Miller has an immediate opening for a full-time Litigation Support Specialist in our Baton Rouge office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain, administer, support, and train on existing practice support applications and databases
  • Provide advice and direction with document productions such as options for managing client data
  • Upload requested information; create designated folders with new data; verify to ensure data was uploaded and that all requisite data fields have been populated as to each upload. 
  • Perform quality control checks on all deliverables received from third parties 
  • Assist attorneys and paralegals with Kean Miller’s courtroom presentation tools


  • Understanding of electronic discovery best practices
  • Understanding of database structure, design, set-up and utilization
  • Understanding of document management


  • Proficiency in Practice Support applications (Relativity, Ringtail, LAW, CaseMap, Trial Director)
  • Proficiency in MS Office products as well as document management systems
  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree; Prior law firm experience in the area of litigation support highly desired.

Marketing Coordinator - New Orleans

Kean Miller, one of the largest law firms in Louisiana, has an immediate opening for a full-time Client Services and Marketing Coordinator in our growing New Orleans office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing the firm’s CRM system, Interaction, including data quality, marketing lists, reports, activities, and desk-side training and assistance for support staff and attorneys. 
  • Assistance with internal and external use of the firm’s state of the art Conference Center, including meeting coordination, food and beverage, set up, audio-visual needs, and other professional meeting needs.
  • Assistance with a variety of external marketing events, such as seminars, client appreciation events, CLE programs, client entertainment events, and internal events.
  • Assistance with brochures, presentations, marketing materials, Website, blogs, and other creative projects.
  • Wide ranging level of administrative assistance including scheduling, calendaring, check requests, filing, vendor relations, and other tasks.
  • Extensive interaction with a wide variety of internal and external “customers”, including partners, attorneys, staff, and professional managers.  


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, advertising, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years prior experience 
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and InterAction preferred
  • Highly customer service oriented 
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance and prioritize tasks with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Resourceful, driven attitude with a genuine desire and energy to use a “whatever it takes” approach to ensure team success.
